KMI-30 Index

The KMI-30 tracks a selected basket of Shariah-screened PSX companies and is often used by investors who want Islamic equity market context. It helps compare compliant large-cap performance with conventional benchmarks such as the KSE-100.

Methodology

The index uses screening criteria for Shariah compliance, then tracks eligible companies using the methodology approved for the KMI benchmark family.

Investor use

Use the KMI-30 when analyzing Shariah-compliant watchlists, Islamic mutual fund context, or differences between compliant and conventional market leadership.

Limitations

Screening rules can exclude major sectors or companies, so the KMI-30 is not a substitute for a complete PSX market benchmark.
