Deliverable futures.

Deliverable futures are PSX contracts where actual shares are delivered when the contract expires.

Definition

A deliverable future contract (DFC) is a standardised agreement, typically 500 shares per contract with a 90-day maturity, that ends in real delivery of the underlying stock. This differs from cash-settled futures, which settle only the price difference.

Worked example

Holding a LUCK deliverable future to expiry means you actually receive the underlying LUCK shares.
